Apache Tomcat Configurations

Follow these steps to configure Tomcat Memory Pool:

  1. Navigate to <installation-dir>\hybrid-chat\core\tomcat\apache-tomcat-8.5.47\bin

  2. Run Tomcat8w.exe as an administrator

  3. Tomcat Properties Dialogbox will open, switch to Java Tab on top

  4. Set Initial Memory pool to 256 MB and Maximum Memory Pool to minimum 1024 MB.

  5. Click Apply and then OK

  6. Restart Apache Tomcat Service

Troubleshooting

If Apache Tomcat can't load UMM and other services, refer to catalina logs in <installation-dir>\hybrid-chat\core\tomcat\apache-tomcat-8.5.47\log

  1. Open Windows Services

  2. Open Properties of Apache Tomcat Windows Service

  3. Open Log On tab

  4. Select Local System account instead of This account.

  5. Save changes and restart Apache Tomcat Windows Service
