Features

Feature

  Description

Supervisor Role

The Supervisor role enables supervisors to access recordings based on their assigned groups. A supervisor can be assigned one or more groups through the IAM, with each group containing multiple members. When logged in, the supervisor can access their own recordings as well as the recordings of members belonging to their assigned groups. This provides supervisors with a structured view of recording data for effective monitoring and management within contact centers.

Group members retain their existing permissions and can access only their own data and recordings. Assigning multiple groups to a supervisor allows them to oversee recordings across all members of those groups.

Session Timeout

The Session Timeout feature allows administrators to configure the session timeout period through the IAM. Once a user's authentication token expires and the configured timeout period is reached, any attempt to perform backend related actions—such as applying custom or built-in filters, manually refreshing records, playing recordings, or downloading recordings—will automatically log the user out of the application.

The user will be notified with a "Session Expired" message and must log in again to continue using the application. This ensures that inactive or expired sessions cannot be used to access application data and strengthens the overall security of the system.

APISIX Support

The system is enhanced to support APISIX-based authentication through the EFCX Profile, providing secure access to internal CX APIs. This integration ensures that API requests are authenticated and authorized through the EFCX Profile while enabling secure communication between VRS and CX services in a multitenant environment.
