Upgrade Guide

CX5.0 to CX5.0.1

New in CX5.0.1

This is a patch release on top of CX5.0. This includes key improvements and a few critical fixes.

Improve Email Connector reliability and compatibility

Email Connector (IMAP/SMTP) has been updated to a newer version to improve compatibility and resolve several issues with multi-part messages, attachments, and inline images. This results in more reliable email processing and correct rendering of email content in the agent desktop.

Resolved Issues

Two-Factor Authentication restored on the CX Applications

Issue: Previously, two-factor authentication (2FA) did not function correctly for the agent on the Agent Desk after it was enabled in the previous release. As a result, agents could not complete 2FA flows when signing in.

Resolution: 2FA has been restored and now works as expected on Agent Desk, ensuring consistent authentication security across both unified‑admin and unified‑agent applications.

Correct display of customer names in (RTL)

Issue: Previously, Arabic customer names were corrupted in the agent interface for incoming requests. Agents see garbled text, while English names display correctly. This prevents reliable identification of Arabic-speaking customers.

Resolution: The agent interface now displays Arabic (RTL) customer names correctly and consistently everywhere. Arabic and English names render without corruption, so agents confidently identify customers by name.
