Batch Load

Description

This node batch1.png is placed automatically within the Conversation Studio for each campaign when it is created in the Unified Admin. It is responsible for injecting contacts into the flow in batches. The init node waits for the results of the complete batch before pushing next batch into the flow. This node can be used to configure both, the batch and the general campaign settings.

Following is the list of the available configurations.

  • Customer Filter: This option allows user to specify a filter created in Customer Advanced Filters. All the CX Customers that satisfy this filter’s criteria will be injected into the campaigns flow.

  • Key For Re-execution: This optional setting allows a contact who has already been processed to be included in the campaign again. To trigger a re-execution for a specific contact, find their profile in CX Customers and update the value of the designated re-execution attribute to true. The campaign will automatically detect this change and pick up the contact for processing.

  • Time Window: This configuration enables the restriction of campaign execution to specific periods within the day. Use this option to set designated start and end times, ensuring the campaign only operates during these active hours.

  • Days: This setting allows for the selection of specific days of the week. The campaign will only initiate and execute its flow on the particular days chosen using this option.

  • Batch Order: This option allows the user to specify the sequence in which contacts are processed. Selections include LIFO (Last-In, First-Out), prioritizing the most recently added contacts, and FIFO (First-In, First-Out), processing contacts in the order they were received.

  • Batch Size: This setting determines the specific number of contacts to be injected into the flow during each batch execution cycle. Adjusting this value controls the volume of contacts processed simultaneously.
